Refleksi Pengajaran

Sebelum Pengajaran
Hari ini saya akan mengajar murid-murid kelas Tahun 3 cara-cara membuat Kad Ucapan Sempena Hari Guru. Kalau berkenaaan dengan topik ‘membuat kad’ sangat mengujakan murid-murid ini. Saya harus menyediakan BBM yang bersesuaian dengan kemahiran  pengajaran ini. Berdasarkan contoh di dalam Buku latihan aktiviti muka surat 58, saya membuat salinan kad yang lebih besar. Kemahiran yang harus saya ajar ialah membaca teks dengan lancar dan menulis perkataan serta ayat dalam tulisan cantik.



Semasa Pengajaran
Pada awal pengajaran saya, menunjukkan contoh kad ucapan – undangan ke Majlis Sambutan Hari warga Emas.

Murid : “Waa….cantiknya kad.“
Cikgu : “Pernahkah awak melihat dan membuat kad seperti ini?”
Murid-murid : “Pernah cikgu.”
Cikgu : “Apakah kad yang awak pernah buat?”
Murid : “Kad Hari raya, cikgu!”
Murid : “Kad Krismas!”
Murid : “Kad Hari Gawai!”
Cikgu : “Suka tak, kalau kita membuat kad ucapan sempena Hari Guru?”
Murid-murid : “Suka ! Suka! Buat sekarangkah cikgu?”
Cikgu : “Belum lagi, sabar kita belajar dahulu selepas itu baharu kita buat, boleh?”
Murid-murid : “Waaa……. Baiklah, cikgu.”

Sebelum buat kad, murid-murid harus diajar membaca dan menulis perkataan serta ayat yang betul.

Cikgu : “Cuba awak lihat ayat yang terdapat di dalam kad undangan Ke Majlis sambutan Hari Warga Emas ini.”
Murid-murid : “Nampak, cikgu. Tak Nampak cikgu.”
Cikgu : “Di dalam buku latihan aktiviti muka surat 58 ada contohnya. Sila buka buku awak!”
Murid-murid : “ Ya, cikgu!”
Cikgu :  “Sila baca kad ini.”
Murid-murid : “Tak jelas cikgu, tak faham sangat cikgu.”
Cikgu : “Baiklah, saya akan tulis di papan tulis.”
Murid- murid : “Haa…baru dapat baca, cikgu!”
Cikgu : “Baiklah, boleh mulakan sekarang.”
Murid-murid : “Undangan Ke Majlis Sambutan Hari warga Emas. Dengan segala hormatnya, Persatuan Penduduk Taman Seri Belat mengundang Encik Kamal Bahri dan isteri ke Majlis Sambutan Hari Warga Emas . Tarikh : 1 Oktober 2005, Masa : 2.30 Petang, Tempat : Dewan Seri Belat.”
Cikgu : “Baiklah, berhenti, terima kasih. Saya hendak Nurhidayah, tolong baca seterusnya.”
Nurhidayah : “Yang mana, cikgu.”
Cikgu : Yang ini, (sambil menunjukkan di papan tulis).
Nurhidayah : “Warga Emas Ceria Negara bahgia”.
Cikgu : “Bahagia! (memperbetulkan bacaan).”
Nurhidayah : “Bahagia. Yang mengu……ndang. Persatu…..an.”
Cikgu : “Yang mengundang. Persatuan (memperbetulkan bacaan).”
Nurhidayah : “Yang mengundang. Persatuan Penduduk Taman Seri Belat, Kuantan, Pahang. (Dengan muka yang lega).”
Cikgu : “Baiklah, terima kasih. Nurhidayah, lain kali banyak-banyaklah membaca ya! Sila duduk!”
Nurhidayah : “Ya, cikgu. Terima kasih, cikgu! (Sambil duduk).”
Cikgu : “Murid-murid semua, sila baca sekali lagi.”

Penekanan terhadap penegasan sebutan yang betul untuk membantu murid menyebut dan mengingati ejaan perkataan yang betul dalam konteks bacaan ayat.
Murid-murid membaca ayat semula. Nada dan intonasi kira-kira sesuai.
Aktiviti diteruskan membina ayat contoh bagi membuat kad ucapan hari Guru. Penekanan menulis perkataan dan ayat dengan tulisan cantik diadakan. Murid dibenarkan menulis mengikut kemampuan masing-masing untuk memupuk semangat ingin mencuba. Sekiranya terlalu ditekankan ketepatan penulisan, dikhuatiri ada yang berasa putus asa kerana belum menguasai secara menyeluruh. Memupuk minat terlebih dahulu adalah lebih penting untuk mengekalkan sikap ingin terus belajar.

Kemudian, murid menjalankan aktiviti membuat Kad Ucapan Sempena Hari Guru. Pada bahagian ini, mereka diajar dan dibimbing membuat corak-corak yang boleh mencantikkan kad tersebut. Murid menyalin contoh-contoh ayat yang telah di ajar ke dalam kad yang dibuat. Murid-murid menghasilkan kad mengikut kreativiti masing-masing. Semasa aktiviti ini dijalankan, didapati ada yang sudah dapat menulis dengan tulisan cantik dan ada yang perlu bimbingan.

Selepas pengajaran
Setelah aktiviti dijalankan, murid dapat membaca dengan lebih ayat yang dipelajari. Beberapa kad dalam tulisan cantik dapat dihasilkan bagi menambah kemahiran menulis. Sebelum keluar kelas, cikgu sempat menyuruh murid melekatkan kad-kad masing-masing di sudut Bahasa Malaysia di belakang dinding dalam kelas. Murid-murid ini berasa seronok kerana dapat melihat usaha masing-masing. Bangga betul mereka semua. Hasil usaha tadi adalah merupakan penghargaan sebagai motivasi diri .Diharap mereka akan terus berminat untuk memahirkan diri dalam kemahiran menulis. Pengukuhan akan terus dilakukan pada pengajaran pembelajaran akan datang.
